Welcome to Lakehead University Formula SAE Race Car Team!
The Lakehead University Formula SAE Race Car Team was established in 2007 and has since been competing against over one hundred other university teams from around the world. Our primary goal every year is to participate in the prestigious competition held at the Michigan International Speedway. We are able to achieve this through the generous support of companies and individuals who sponsor and donate to our team.
Our Team Members
Our team comprises dedicated individuals who are passionate about motorsports and engineering. Most of our team members are pursuing an engineering degree from Lakehead University and have a hands-on college background. This unique combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience enables us to design and build high-performance race cars.
