Mechanical Engineering Intern
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at LUFASE, you will work closely with our design and fabrication teams to contribute to the development of our next-generation race car. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in all aspects of race car design, from CAD modeling and simulation to fabrication and testing.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to develop innovative solutions for race car components and systems.
- Utilize CAD software (such as SolidWorks) to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings of mechanical components.
- Assist with the selection of materials and manufacturing processes to optimize performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or similar.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with machining, fabrication, or automotive systems is preferred but not required.
